Netrunner updated to 4.1...

Netrunner, the Kubuntu-based distro, which focusses on desktop computing has brought out its latest version yet. It promises a well handled KDE 4 desktop with many integrated GNOME apps that will provide the users with a handpicked list of popular programs.

Kubuntu Distro

The Netrunner 4.1, which is the latest update of the project's Kubuntu-based desktop Linux disto that features the KDE 4.7.4 desktop is now available in a 64-bit variant too.
This release has the following changes over #4.0

  • KDE 4.7.4
  • Kernel 3.0.0.15
  • switched to Hybrid ISO
  • Muon 1.2.95
  • kde-gtk-config module for easy gtk2+gtk3 configuration under KDE
  • additional packages for on an easy upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1
  • numerous bugfixes
